The sound of SoulShyne has been experienced primarily on the South Coast of the UK but has spread across many parts of Europe and beyond. The music is lovingly selected and mixed by resident DJ and SoulShyne founder Mick Fuller with support from many guests and is aimed firmly at a more discerning listener.

During my career, I have adaptability and good musical taste have been the secret of my success, taking in many different styles of soul music in all of its various forms, from Rare Groove & Disco through to US Garage & Deep Soulful House. Over the years I have played at all of Brighton’s coolest clubs including The Inn Place, Escape Club, The Zap, Honey Club & Ocean Rooms as well as holding long-term residencies at the legendary Kings 2 & Helsinki. As a guest DJ, I have also been welcomed everywhere from international house nights like Soul Heaven & Defected in the House to old school hip-hop jams and original soul sessions.

Venues from my hometown of Brighton to those in the UK & further afield are all feeling the mix of Old School Soul, Funk Anthems, Disco Classics & Deep Soulful House. With guests including Jay Hannan (Lazy Dog), Andy Caldwell (San Francisco), DJ Romain (NYC), Joey Musaphia, Dr Bob Jones, Cleveland Anderson (Black Masses), Bobby & Steve, Terry Jones, Harley & Muscle (Italy), Seamus Haji (Big Love), Julian Bendall (Bah Samba), & Sir Piers (Curious Records) all gracing the SoulShyne turntables, it’s come as no surprise that the nights continues to rock at exclusive parties at venues including The A Bar & Terrace, Babylon Lounge, Sumo, Ocean Rooms, Vudu, Suga Qube, Club 52, The World’s End, Funktion Rooms, Flava, Lo Lounge, Ninja Bar, Concorde 2, Medusa, Baltasar (Espana), Garabato (Espana), Achill (Espana) & Atalaya (Espana).
