My interest in soul and reggae started at an early age while spending time at my friend Leslie’s house, here I was introduced to the delights of Afro Caribbean food and music… from blue note jazz, reggae from the Trojan record label,  funk and soul from the likes of James Brown, Archie Bell, the Temptations and many more…

As soon as I was old enough to do a paper round I started buying records, progressing to a Saturday job allowed more to be spent…at the age of 15 I started as a warm up DJ at the Night Owl behind the Top Rank in Reading.

I later went on to work at many of the areas nightclubs including Nino’s for many years. There were also appearances at Crystals, Nelsons, Bensons, Masquerades and Pantiles to name a few , along with taking a residency at the George Hotel in Wallingford, where I remained for over 15 years.

I started attending the Soulstice events in the spring of 2010. From which sporned Soulstice Radio 24 . I became a radio presenter on there Creating The Soul Salon.. remaining till the end when it folded in the summer of 2018… I was one of the first DJs to join Love Soul Radio London. It’s a huge buzz playing music from my collection to our listeners.
