Clive Brady

FUNK & SOUL

 

 

I became a live event DJ in 1976 in the height of the disco boom and played regular gigs at pubs and nightclubs in South London until 1985 when I landed my first radio show on Radio Thamesmead.

Soon after I became a regular voice on the legendary London FM pirate soul station LWR 92.5.

I have since had a career in Commercial FM radio in the east of England, presenting regular shows on 3 regional stations before launching my “Global network funk and soul show” in 2016 which has gone on to be aired in 24 countries on over 120 stations worldwide.

I am also the voice of many radio commercials and jingles alongside my presenting work.

Recent studio guests on my show include ‘GC Cameron’ (lead singer Detroit Spinners), ‘JT Taylor’ (Lead singer Kool and the Gang) and ‘Soul Diva Miss Candi Staton’
