I purchased my first 7″piece of vinyl in 1971, closely followed by a Motown chartbusters album.
Apart from a few years when kids needed to be fed I’ve been buying vinyl ever since. My love is original soul music, not a great fan of re-mixes or re-edits, why reinvent the wheel?
I’ve never been a DJ, playing in clubs or weekenders, just a old git who loves soul music. I was given the opportunity of playing on another internet station 5 years ago despite the immense fear and trepidation I pressed the broadcast button and dived in.
