Hi, thanks for looking and please enjoy the music. I’ve been a soul fan for as long as I can remember. Started DJing at my local youth club back in 1968. I’ve been hooked ever since, buying Soul records of all varieties. In the early days I DJ’d at clubs, pubs, parties all over the North of England and was a part of the “Northern Soul Club Roadshow”. I’ve owned a record shop in the 70’s and I’ve promoted soul venues and hosted soul groups on the (then new) internet. I spent 10 years during the 00’s as musical director for the 60’s live acts at the famous Prestatyn soul weekenders.
My taste in music varies across all sections of soul so expect my shows to reflect the diversity. I’m comfortable playing a Motown or Stax classic and following it with a brand new release, for me it’s about quality rhythmic tunes.
